Perhaps, you often save little notes in Notepad on while browsing the web, such as a URL, name list, program code, and so forth. In Google Chrome, you need no longer to open an external text editor program such as Notepad to save notes.
Google Chrome to version 4.0 already supports Extension feature. This feature allows you to install add-on to enrich the activities of surfing the Internet while using Chrome.
One of interesting extensions that can be used is Chromepad (Copy URL below). Chromepad is a simple text editor that can be plugged directly into Google Chrome. With Chromepad, you can write a note or copy text directly from the browser without have to to open any other text editor program such as Notepad.
Chromepad fairly easy to install, you click the following URL:

And then click the install button, then quickly chromepad icon will be installed in Google Chrome in the upper right corner.

You do not need to save the text into a file, now with Chromepad will automatically save the last text you wrote.
Tips #1 : Release Windows
Chromepad by default appears in the form of drop-down menu at the top right of the browser. If you are not satisfied that position, click on the icon and select the option Chromepad “Menu | Release Windows”. This option, chromepad will be display in a special windows which you can position it anywhere.
Tip #2 : Open Old Notes
Your old notes can be opened again via the “Menu | Options”. On the Options menu, Chromepad saves your old texts in the field LocalStorage. Your old notes remain stored even though Google Chrome or Chromepad automatically upgraded to the new version.
