There are many video downloader software out there that offers easy to download videos from Youtube, Metacafe, Vimeo and other online either free or paid software. Not a few of them also offer a function other than as downloader that is the ability to convert video directly to most media formats (mpeg, mp4, avi) and including HD.

Unfortunately, additional functions for video conversion, average of most video downloader that is paid software or if there is a free, video quality not as good as the results.

But if there is a video downloader, which has a function as a video converter, lightweight and high-speed downloading and FREE, I think Freemake Downloader is a decent video downloader you should try. Not only supports Youtube, this video downloader also has support for downloading online videos from Facebook, Google Video, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Metacafe, Megavideo, Break, Liveleak, Veoh, Nicovideo, Stupidvideos, Photobucket, and 18+ sites (i don’t like this share, but it’s really supported).

Viewing interface design, functionality,ease and simplicity of Freemake Downloader, I’m not sure if there is a free video downloader software other than Freemake Downloader which has a better criterion than Freemake downloader.

Of the main window of Freemake downloader, you’ll see a nice interface design. Excellent! I’m not sure this is Freeware. Yes, I see like Web 2.0 looking, you know that this free program has been using MS. Net Framework v4 for Windows Environment. Awesome!

1. Well, it’s easy to use Freemake Downloader, you just copy and paste the URL of online video site that has supported this program.
2. After that you just click add button, new window will pop up that offers a choice of quality for video download formats and options for video format conversion.
3. Then click the Download button.

With the batch function, you can add many videos that you wish to download. Interestingly, Freemake also provides account option, with this feature you can download videos from your friends in privacy. Account option is available only for Youtube, Facebook and Nicovideo.

Note :

Freemake Downloader requires MS. Framework v4 that installed on your PC. To work with Freemake software, you will need .NET Framework 4.0 Client Profile (41 Mb). If you don’t have it, Freemake setup wizard will install it to your PC.
